Booker T. Washington High School

Greetings:

It is a pleasure to begin this 2021-2022 school year with anticipating continued success amongst our track and field programs. We will start the year off with Cross Country in the Fall, and student-athletes will run a minimum of five competition meets. In the Winter, we will transition to Indoor Track & Field, and student-athletes will compete in competition meets across divisions at the Birmingham Crossplex, located in Birmingham, Alabama. In the Spring, we will close out the school year with student-athletes competing in a minimum of six competition meets.

We are thankful for our leadership in supporting the expansion of our running programs, which provides year-round exposure to our student-athletes. Our coaching staff has successfully matriculated student-athletes through high school by preparing them for college scholarship opportunities. We are honored by the opportunity to have coached regional qualifiers, state medalists, and champions. Among those talented athletes, we have had the pleasure of coaching Mr. Ja'lien Fluellen, the Booker T. Washington High School's first 4A Divisional State Champion. During our tenure, we have had a total of nine student-athletes competing at the collegiate level.

Financial contributions will allow us to broaden and advance our running programs and positively impact our student-athletes in the community. Contributions will help aide resources needed for our student-athletes to compete competitively across the state of Alabama.

We look forward to developing and sustaining partnerships with stakeholders for this upcoming season#ThePowerOfOne#TeamMacon
