Congratulations SENIORS CLASS OF 2023!
You have progressed to your last year of high school. As you are making our way through the post-COVID-19 pandemic, please know that you must do what is necessary to ensure that you are safe while continuing the course of learning during the academic year. As preparations are being made to transition back to the classroom, it is very important that you work diligently and consistently to maintain an adequate grade point average, thereby qualifying you for graduation completion and clearance in May 2023.
One of the main things you need to know is that COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!! I will be communicating with you daily to provide lessons, prompt discussions, feedback, deadlines, and any information that will be of benefit to you. My main mode of my communication will be through Google classroom. It is imperative that you check it daily. Your parents can also join so they can assist me in reminders/deadlines. The administrative and technology staff have been working expeditiously to make the transition of new technology as seamless as possible, so please excuse any hick-ups and/or delays that may occur along the way.
In addition to classwork, please know that you will be working on WorkKeys and ASVAB skills practice, college admission applications, scholarship opportunities, and all other advantages and resources available that will prepare you for the real world that awaits you after graduating high school. Even if you revert to safer spaces again, you must not waste one second as it concerns your future. Please stay in constant contact with your teachers, counselors, and advisors.
Lastly, please make sure you are preparing yourself for what comes next. Possibilities are endless if you are willing to make sacrifices. For the things that really matter are never easily gained. Each day is a new day to be better individuals.
