Help from Home
Homework: Your child will be expected to spend 15 minutes reading with or to an adult.
- Your child should spend time working on spelling words for the week. Your child is responsible for any other homework assignments.
Blue Communication Folder: Each child will have a blue take home folder that will go home each night and come back to school in the morning. In this folder will be their spelling list, homework, or any updates. Please be sure the folder comes back and forth each day. This is a method of you and I being able to communicate also.
Special Person of the Week: Each week we will have a child as the special person of the week.
Snack: Your child can bring snacks/water bottles with them to school. Every afternoon after PE/recess we will take a water and snack break.Birthdays: If your child is celebrating a birthday and you would like to send a special treat, you may do so. Class Newsletter: The Class Newsletter is very important. It explains each subject area and goals that we covered for the week. I hope you find this helpful to you and your child.
