If you were not at the George Washington Carver Cafeteria and Auditorium at 6:00 PM on October 9th, 2012, then you missed a treat!

Parents, friends and family, administrators, teachers and guests were entertained by the pomp and pagentry of the Coronation of the 2012 George Washington Carver Elementary King and Queen and The Royal Court.

The theme of the event was "A Whole New World", and the room was decorated to perfection, with refreshments waiting in the wings.

The newly-crowned King and Queen and their court moved with inpiring words of encouragement from the First Attendant to Ms Tuskegee University and Ms Janet Langford, Ms Booker T. Washington High School 2011-2012.

The Court performed a dance routine, followed by closing remarks from Ms Melissa Williams, Principal of George Washington Carver Elementary.
