Sports and Activities Eligibilities

The Macon County Board of Education has a comprehensive list of approved sports for the students of the district. Currently offered sports include the following:  baseball, basketball, cheerleading, football, outdoor track and field, volleyball, and softball.  Goals for the 2020-2021 year include the addition of tennis, eSports, bowling, and swimming.

The Macon County Board of Education complies with the rules and guidelines set out by the state in determining athletic eligibility. Please refer to the official state website for information at Alabama High School Athletic Association. Additional questions may be addressed to school personnel or Student Services.
