Charter School RFP & Application

The Macon County Board of Education was approved as a public charter school authorizing board in November 2016. The board will now issue a request for proposals (RFP) for charter schools that may open as early as 2018-19. The RFP will be released at 8:00 am on March 1, 2017 through the following means: the district's website at www.maconk12.org via email request to mcboecharterschools044@gmail.com  or by coming to the district's central office at 501 South School Street, Tuskegee, Alabama 36083. The due date and other timelines will be set forth in the application. A meeting to review the RFP process will also be held on March 1, 2017 at 6:00 pm at the district's transportation center at 3800 West MLK Highway, Tuskegee, Alabama.  Please email inquires or comments to mcboecharterschools044@gmail.com.
