Dr. Alfonso Robinson
President Dr. Alfonso Robinson serves as President of the Macon County Board of Education. A product of Macon County and lifetime resident, Dr. Robinson attended St. Joseph Catholic School and Tuskegee Institute High School. While at Tuskegee Institute High School, Dr. Robinson excelled at sports, lettering in Football. A graduate of Xavier University College of Pharmacy, Dr. Robinson has been a business owner and has worked in the private area. He was the Director of Pharmacy at John A. Andrew Hospital, a position once held by his father. Dr. Robinson is married to Katie Frazier Robinson. They have two children, Kasey and Preston. An Eagle Scout, Dr. Robinson is a member of Washington Chapel A.M.E. Church and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. Dr. Robinson has an identical twin brother who is also a pharmacist and an Eagle Scout. |

Mr. Theodore Samuel
Vice President Born in Fort Davis in Macon County, Mr. Theodore Samuel attended South Macon High School. He was appointed to carry out the unexpired term of then Macon County School Board president, the late Mrs. Ora Manning. Mr. Samuel began his professional career as a physical education instructor at Washington Public School. He rose quickly through the ranks to become principal of Tuskegee Institute High School, South Macon High School, South Macon Elementary School and Notasulga High School, respectively. He successfully served as principal of South Macon Elementary School and Notasulga High School at the same time. Test results revealed that South Macon Elementary School was number one and Notasulga High School was number two nationwide during Mr. Samuel's tenure. Mr. Samuel is Chairman of Deacons at Elizabeth Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Davis. He is active in numerous community local and state organizations. Mr. Samuel is married to Mrs. Helen Harrison Samuel. They have three children and five grandchildren. |

Mrs. Katy Campbell
Member Born and raised in Tuskegee, Mrs. Katy Smith-Campbell is a product of the Macon County School System. Before starting her own practice in Tuskegee, Mrs. Campbell was the supervising attorney of the governmental law section at the law firm of Chestnut, Sanders, Sanders, Pettaway and Campbell, where she was also a partner. In 1999, Mrs. Campbell was appointed by Governor Don Siegleman as an Administrative Law Judge for the State Health Planning and Development Agency (SHPDA). Governor Siegleman also appointed Mrs. Campbell to the Governor's Commission on Academic Excellence to study and make recommendations on improving education for all of Alabama's children. Elected to the school board in 2000, Mrs. Campbell served as vice president for two years and president for three year. At the Annual Alabama Association of School Boards meeting in December of 2005, Mrs. Campbell was elected District Four Director. District Four is comprised of Alexander City, Auburn, Lanett, Phenix City, Opelika, Roanoke, and Tallassee city school boards and Bullock, Chambers, Clay, Coosa, Elmore, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Randolph, Russell and Tallapoosa county school boards. Mrs. Campbell is President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Macon County Chapter and a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. She is a member of Greater Saint Mark Missionary Baptist Church and is married to Mr. Omar Campbell. The Campbells have five daughters and six grandchildren. |

Mr. Alfred M. Randolph
Member Born in Hurstboro, Alabama, Mr Randolph From 1962 until 1998, Mr. Randolph served as an Elementary Teacher in Waverly, Georgia, a Middle School Assistant Principal and Middle School Principal in Manchester, Georgia and Interim Superintendent of Schools in Macon County, Alabama. Mr. Randolph's father was also a principal in the Macon County School System. He has been a member of the Macon County Board of Education for the past 11 years. Mr. Randolph developed an after school program to improve the academic achievement and social adjustment of Black males, a tutorial program called "We Care" and an "Adopt A Kid" program to improve classroom working relationships. |

Mrs. Elnora Smith-Love
Member A life-long resident of Macon County, Mrs. Elnora Smith-Love attended Macon County Public Schools. After graduating from high school, Mrs. Love attended Tuskegee University. Her professional career has afforded her 31 years as a manager of the Macon County Water Authority. Mrs. Love is in her 4th year as a Board Member for the Macon County Board of Education. Although she represents District 3, Mrs. Love states, "I am for what is right and fair regardless of my district representation; therefore I serve the entire community." As a Board Member, Mother, Wife and Community Leader; Mrs. Love feels honored to serve the students, parents, and teachers of Macon County. Mrs. Love is a member of Butler Chapel Methodist Church. She is married to Mr. Eric Love, Sr. and is the mother of two sons; Clifford Hill, Jr. and Eric Love, Jr. who are the major joys of her life. Mrs. Love enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. Mrs. Love has dedicated her energy towards making a difference in the lives of the citizens in Macon County. Mrs. Love wants the community to know that we all have leadership abilities. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. once said, "Everyone can be great, because everyone can serve." Mrs. Love was inspired by this quote, because she can serve. Mrs. Love asserts that we should discover how great you are by serving your school, community and country. With this, Macon County will be a great place. |
